Refrigerant Recovery Cylinders for Safe Transfer, Reclamation, and Compliance

Worthington Enterprises' refrigerant recovery cylinders offer a trusted solution for the safe recovery, storage, and transport of spent refrigerant gas from HVAC and refrigeration systems. Engineered for performance and compliance, these cylinders are ideal for transferring refrigerants to EPA-certified reclamation centers, where the gas can be recycled, reprocessed, or properly disposed of.

Key Product Features

Built in advanced U.S. and Portugal Facilities

Our recovery cylinders are produced in highly advanced manufacturing plants strategically located in the United States and Portugal. These facilities operate under rigorous quality assurance protocols, ensuring each tank meets exacting standards for performance, safety, and consistency—no matter where it's used.

Protected with a durable powder coat finish

Each cylinder is finished with a tough, industrial-grade powder coating that resists corrosion, abrasion, and harsh weather conditions. This added layer of protection is critical in demanding field environments, helping to extend the service life of the tank and reduce maintenance needs over time.

One-port, two-port, and float switch configurations

To ensure maximum versatility, our recovery cylinders come in multiple configurations, including single-port, dual-port, and models equipped with float switches. These options provide seamless integration with most major HVAC recovery units and service setups, allowing technicians to choose the right fit for their specific workflows.

DOT and AHRI Compliant

All recovery cylinders met or exceed DOT safety requirements and follow AHRI standards for identification and use. The gray body with yellow shoulder finish provides instant visual recognition in the field and ensures alignment with AHRI Guideline K, promoting safety and consistency across HVAC recovery operations.

Flexible Capacity Options for Any Operation

We offer a broad rage of recovery tank capacities to meet the demands of various HVACR operations. Our small recovery tanks include 30 lb and 50 lb options, both rated to 400 pisg, providing a compact and reliable solution for everyday field use. For larger-scale needs, we offer high-capacity recovery cylinders in 123 lb, 239 lb, and 1,000 lb configurations, with pressure ratings ranging from 260 to 400 psig. These tanks are purpose-built for integration into HVACR recovery systems, delivering safe and efficient handling whether used in the field or at recovery facilities.

Engineered for Reuse and Regulatory Confidence

All refrigerant recovery tanks are compliant with DOT regulations requiring hydrostatic testing every five years. Worthington's cylinders can be recertified indefinitely, offering long-term value for refrigerant reclaim tanks and service-based reuse cycles.

Whether you're a distributor, wholesaler, or reclamation facility, our team delivers deep industry knowledge and responsive service. We support large-scale supply programs for refrigerant recovery & reclamation.
